Gee Malik Linton spent nearly a decade trying to make his first film before finally getting one, Daughter of God, off the ground with backing from Keanu Reeves—only to lose control of it mid-production after unknowingly signing away his final cut. What the studio thought they were buying and what Linton delivered were two entirely different movies.
